Definition: NO FAULT law was enacted in the 1970's and applies to anyone injured as a result of an automobile accident or any action taken to get in or operate a car. This includes the following:

• Fastening seatbelts
• Slamming fingers in car door
• Falling getting into or out of a car
• Loading a car or truck

 

The following information MUST be provided:

• Date of accident/injury
• The auto insurance carrier's name, address (not the Insurance Agent's info)
• The policy number
• A completed NYS No Fault Assignment of Benefits Form (provided by our office)
