Definition: NO FAULT law was enacted in the 1970's and applies to anyone injured as a result of an automobile accident or any action taken to get in or operate a car. This includes the following:
- Fastening seatbelts
- Slamming fingers in car door
- Falling getting into or out of a car
- Loading a car or truck
The following information MUST be provided:
- Date of accident/injury
- The auto insurance carrier's name, address (not the Insurance Agent's info)
- The policy number
- A completed NYS No Fault Assignment of Benefits Form (provided by our office)
